We educated people on health, hygiene, and nutrition.

Teacher Education

We trained teachers and staff in 18 different schools, empowering them to better teach, care for and connect with children.

Children Learning

Many children have benefitted from training provided to teachers and staff in various school systems.

Child Dental Care

We provided dental care and oral hygiene education to children and their families without access to dental care.

Surgeries

We provided or arranged surgeries for people in two communities who were in need of life-saving or life-changing operations.

Meals Served

We served healthy regular meals to children in need of proper nutrition.

Our Story

Generative Partners® carries out its programs in partnership with local people and organizations in the communities we serve. Our Program Coordinator in Vila do Café, Encruzilhada, Bahia, Brazil grew up as the daughter of coffee farm laborers and lives in this community.

We partner with the Foundation of Assistance and Human Development for Children and Adolescents of Vitória da Conquista (aka FAMEC) in Bahia, Brazil to provide children and teens ages 5-17 with healthy meals, dental care, safe drinking water, education, capoeira, music, percussion, art and dance.

After talking with men and women working as coffee harvesters in the coffee-producing community of Vila do Café, Encruzilhada, Bahia, Brazil, we learned that they struggled to meet their children’s basic needs for food, education, and health.

We began working with the people of this community in 2004. As we learned with them, our mission evolved. We work with people in coffee-producing countries to improve children’s lives through programs in education, health, sustainability, and water, sanitation, and hygiene (W.A.S.H.).

We also worked with local people and organizations in the coffee-growing community of Talnique, La Libertad, El Salvador to serve children there through programs focused on education, health, and water, sanitation, and hygiene (W.A.S.H.).

More About Stephanie

Stephanie is the Executive Director and Founder of Generative Partners.

She holds a Grant Writer Certification, Technical Writer Certification, and UX Writer Certification from Technical Writer HQ, a master’s degree in global finance, trade, and economic integration from the University of Denver, and a dual bachelor’s degree in Spanish and creative writing from Bowling Green State University. She speaks fluent Portuguese and Spanish.

Adelina Nogueira da Silva

More About Adelina

Adelina Nogueira da Silva, Generative Partners Program Coordinator, grew up as the daughter of coffee farm laborers in Vila do Café, Encruzilhada, Bahia, Brazil.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of North Paraná. She has taught kindergarten, first grade, and English.

She serves as President of the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Vila do Café.

More About Shawn

Shawn brings diverse leadership experience from multiple business sectors including education, public health, technology, and healthcare/aviation security. His passion for building sustainable solutions and creating positive outcomes for communities has been a common thread throughout his career. Shawn specifically focuses on evidence based interventions, the community based public health model and supporting childhood protective factors across the communities served by Generative Partners programs. He is a proud father of two teenage boys and his wife Lauran shares a similar passion for nonprofit community based programs. Together they have decades of experience in the public health and nonprofit world which created a home culture of service, leadership, and philanthropy.

Summer Alsadi

More About Summer

Summer Alsadi, Board Secretary of Generative Partners, holds a BA in Hospitality Management with a Tourism minor. A certified PMP and CSM, she specializes in using AI to scale best practices and streamline complex workflows. Her non-profit experience includes a long tenure at the OMNI Institute, where she managed community outreach, grant writing, and data collection for federally funded projects. She gained experience in environmental preservation and safety education during an eco-tourism internship with the Friends of Banff. She is a dedicated community organizer. Summer has led event planning and fundraising for children with special needs, served in school PTO/PTC leadership, and actively advocates for community security and governance through Neighborhood Watch and HOA programs.

More About Adriana

She holds a BA in International Relations and Linguistics and brings a background in strategic consulting, specializing in communications, change management, and translating complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives. Her background includes nonprofit and volunteer work supporting Little League Challenger Division and fundraising initiatives with the Order of Songs of Italy in America benefiting Alzheimer’s and Cooley’s Anemia causes.

On the board, she focuses on expanding funding sources, strengthening donor engagement, and developing marketing and storytelling materials that clearly communicate impact and drive growth.

She has traveled to over 25 countries and lives in Denver with her husband, two dogs, and cat, and is always planning her next adventure.
